We’re looking for a talented sales professional to join our team. We are a growing organization with a big reputation and we want you to become our ambassador to some of the biggest players and partners in the industry.
Through our products and services, MMB Networks has earned an industry-leading reputation for excellence. This is a critical role that will be instrumental in maintaining that reputation, supporting our growth objectives by identifying new key accounts, managing customer relationships, and communicating vital customer requirements to our Development, Product, and Marketing teams. In this role, you’ll leverage your past experience successfully driving sales strategies to discover, attract, and capture new business in two primary areas of responsibility:
Project Proposals & Contracts
Our customers possess a wide variety of applications, resources, and capabilities. Though our solutions are built on a common platform, many customers still seek out expert advice as they scope out their projects, and often look for support or design services when implementing our technology. The Executive Account Manager will become an expert in MMB Networks products, acutely understand the needs of new customers, and develop the technical knowledge needed to accurately capture their requirements to help facilitate the preparation of proposals and contracts.
New Business Development
A critical part of the MMB Networks sales process involves communicating our solutions effectively to prospective and existing customers. The ability to demonstrate our expertise, and interact with customers’ engineering teams to illustrate the value of our solutions will be an important part of this role. The Executive Account Manager will also be responsible for providing insights into market trends, identify and build relationships with customers, and also act as our representative at industry events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (on site or at customer locations)
Identify, qualify, and source new customers. Engaging with companies that benefit from our products or services, and moving them through the sales and marketing lead nurturing programs
Assisting in business development activities by communicating with customers via phone, email, or on-site. This may occasionally require after office hours to support global customers. Up to 40% travel is possible and candidates should have that flexibility.
Effectively collecting customer requirements and managing customer expectations. This means speaking with clients ranging from engineers to C-Level Executives in order to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs
Delivering product presentations and demonstrating MMB Networks key value propositions about how our solutions meet the customer’s needs
Maintaining accurate records of all customer contact and other sales activities in our internal tools (CRM)
Preparing detailed quotes and technical sales proposals (Statement of Work, Services Proposals)
Working with the Engineering and Operations teams to monitor the progress of customer development schedules, and ensure customer expectations are being met
Attending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences, and other customer-facing events or meetings
Work closely with the Marketing team and assist in the identification, production, and maintenance of collateral to help drive success in sales.

Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or sufficient work experience in a similar technology sales role.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Previous experience supporting technology products, software and/or hardware is desired.
Minimum of 2 years sales experience
Assets (Nice to haves)
Knowledge of leading Internet of Things platforms, cloud services, technology, end-to-end solutions and device vendors
Experience with wireless protocols like ZigBee, Thread, Bluetooth, NFC, WiFi, or Z-Wave Technologies
Experience with Smart Grid, Industrial IOT, Home Automation and/or Security Products
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
Candidates possessing the right skill set, who are located in a city other than Toronto and reside in North America will also be considered for this position.
