Role Description 

Working with suppliers around the globe, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with leading partners across the electronics, plastics, mechanical engineering, and industrial design fields. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of MMB’s supplier relations, product manufacturing, and product supply.

What You’ll be Doing

  • Manage all supply chain relationships and agreements.

  • Manage and coordinate component and end-product deliveries and commitments. This includes categorizing and traceability of the products and components.

  • Provide costing and margin information to the Sales and Executive teams on an as-needed basis.

  • Managing all aspects of our Inventory management processes and systems.

  • You’ll own the product manufacturing responsibility including testing, OEM relationships, vendor relationships, regulatory requirements etc.

  • You’ll have ownership of decisions on whether to build vs. buy for various product components.

 

Skills and Experience

Must-Have Skills

  • Previous experience managing software and hardware vendor relationships.

  • Experience working under pressure - displaying keen multi-tasking problem-solving abilities.

  • A strong communicator with experience communicating ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands-on leadership skills. 

  • Experience with Offshore Supply Chain and Production Management.

  • Experience with Hardware Production (including CMs and PCB shops). And managing the resolution of issues related to electronics production.

  • Experience sourcing and specifying parts from various manufacturers and distributors.

  • Experience ensuring compliance with RoHS, REACH, WEEE, and related standards.

  • Experience with Quality Management and Product Life Cycle Management tools (e.g. Autodesk Fusion Lifecycle).

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with certification of products from both a regulatory and safety perspective.

  • Experience with Hardware Qualification including HALT/ALT, test fixture design, flash and test.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Equivalent.

  • Experience designing electronic hardware / Electrical Engineering.

  • Relationships with CMs, component manufacturers, manufacturers reps and distributors.

  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills.
